The Embros hot spring is approximately 9 km from the city
Kos in the direction of Agios Fokas. There is a good bus connection from Kos
city. The bus takes about 15 - 20 min. One can, of course, hire a car or
motorcycle to drive there.
The source of the approximately 40 degree hot spring is in the mountains. In the
picture on the right you can see how the hot water flows into in the sea. The
hot water accumulates in a basin of natural stones approximately 10 meters in
diameter. The nearer one gets to the source the hotter is the water. It is
scientifically proven that this water can help to cure skin diseases, breathing
problems and muscle illnesses
